Susan Ito is the author of the memoir I Would Meet You Anywhere (Ohio State University Press, forthcoming November 2023) and the coeditor of the anthology A Ghost at Heart’s Edge: Stories & Poems of Adoption (North Atlantic Books, 1999). Her work has appeared in The WriterGrowing Up Asian American, Choice, Hip Mama, AGNILiterary Mama, Catapult, Hyphen, The Bellevue Literary Review, and elsewhere. Her theatrical adaption of Untold, stories of reproductive stigma, was produced at Brava Theater. She is a co-organizer of Rooted and Written, a writing workshop for writers of color, and a member of the Writers’ Grotto. She teaches at the Mills College campus of Northeastern University and at Bay Path University. (updated 10/2023)
