Robert Leonard Reid’s five books include Arctic Circle, an account of his adventures chasing caribou across Alaska and Yukon, and Mountains of the Great Blue Dream, the last book published by North Point Press. He has received an Artist Fellowship in Literary Arts from the Nevada Arts Council and a Silver Pen Award from the Nevada Writers Hall of Fame. He is also a piano player in a variety of Reno-area bands, and a composer. His ninety-minute sacred composition The Bristlecone Mass premiered in 2011. (updated 10/2012)
