Mary Helen Stefaniak is the author of two novels and a collection of short stories. Her new novel, The Cailiffs of Baghdad, Georgia, will be published in the fall of 2010 by W. W. Norton and Company. She currently teaches at Creighton University in Omaha. (updated 6/2010)
