Majda Gama

Majda Gama is the author of the poetry collection In the House of Modern Upbringing for Girls (2025), winner of the Wandering Aengus Press Book Award in Poetry, and The Call of Paradise (2023), selected by Diane Seuss for the Two Sylvias Press Chapbook Prize. Recent poems have appeared in TriQuarterly, AGNI, Tupelo Quarterly, swamp pink, and also Shenandoah, which awarded her the Graybeal-Gowen Prize for Virginia Poets. (updated 10/2025)
