Laurence Goldstein was the chief editor of Michigan Quarterly Review from 1977–2009. He is the author of numerous volumes of criticism and four collections of poetry, including Cold Reading (Copper Beech Press, 1995) and A Room in California (Triquarterly, 2005). (updated 6/2010)
