Jessica Q. Stark

Jessica Q. Stark, a half-Vietnamese poet originally from California, is assistant poetry editor of AGNI and has been part of the editorial team since 2019. She is the author of a poetry collection, Savage Pageant (Birds LLC, forthcoming 2020) and three chapbooks, most recently Vasilisa the Wise (Ethel Zine Press, 2018). Her poems have appeared in Tupelo Quarterly, Potluck, Glass Poetry Journal, and elsewhere. Her chapbook manuscript, The Liminal Parade, was selected by Dorothea Lasky for Heavy Feather’s Double Take Poetry Prize in 2016. She writes poetry reviews for Carolina Quarterly and writes an ongoing poetry zine called INNANET. She is a doctoral candidate in English at Duke University, where she writes on the intersections of U.S. American poetry and comic books. (updated 10/2019)
