Amanda Niehaus is an American-Australian biologist and writer. She is an Australian Research Council fellow at the University of Queensland, where she studies sex and death in wild animals. Recipient of a 2017 Varuna Residential Fellowship, she was also a finalist for the New Philosopher Writers’ Prize (VI).
