Emily Mitchell is the author of the novel The Last Summer of the World (Norton, 2007) which was a finalist for the 2008 NYPL Young Lion’s Prize. Mitchell’s short fiction and essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Nation, AGNI, New England Review and Indiana Review.
