Numertha Geisinger is an editorial assistant at AGNI. An MFA candidate in the Creative Writing Program at Boston University, she is a coordinator of the 2022 Black Box Reading Series and a teaching fellow in creative writing. She received an MPhil in film and screen studies from the University of Cambridge and an MA in English literature from Queen Mary, University of London. She is peer reviewer in film research for The Kelvingrove Review and eSharp Postgraduate Journal at the University of Glasgow. Her work has been published in The PosthumanistChannel MagazineBreadwinner Magazine, and elsewhere. She has received the Lowell Grabill: Brett Foster Prize for Poetry and honorable mentions for the Steve Kowitt Poetry Prize and the Frontier Award for New Poets. (updated 9/2022)
