Lynette Labinger
Lynette Labinger has practiced law for more than twenty years in Providence, Rhode Island, where she concentrates on civil and constitutional rights and employment discrimination. She represented Brown University women athletes in their successful title IX class-action discrimination suit. Her visit with Joseph Brodsky, as well as other experiences in her travels through the Soviet Union in summer 1970, showed her the immeasurable value of the First Amendment and the Bill of Rights and convinced her to pursue a career in civil rights law.
