Diane Comer is the author of The Braided River: Migration and the Personal Essay (Otago University Press, 2019). Her writing has appeared in The Georgia Review, AGNI, Fourth Genre, Ninth Letter, and elsewhere. The recipient of fellowships for creative nonfiction from the Colorado Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, she has taught at universities in Sweden, the U.S., and New Zealand.
