Dara Wier is the author of eleven books of poetry. Her literary awards include the Jerome J. Shestack Prize, the Pushcart Prize, and grants from the NEA, the Guggenheim Foundation, and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. She is the founding editor of Factory Hollow Press and is currently the director of the MFA program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. (updated 6/2010)
