Ann Pancake
Ann Pancake is the author of a collection of short stories, Given Ground, and a novel, Strange As This Weather Has Been. She has received a Whiting Award, an NEA grant, a Pushcart Prize, and the Bakeless Prize, among others. Her fiction and essays have appeared in journals and anthologies like Orion, Narrative, AGNI, The Georgia Review, Poets and Writers, and New Stories From the South: The Year’s Best. She teaches in the low-residency MFA program at Pacific Lutheran University. (updated 4/2014)
