Alta Ifland is a poet and prose writer. Born and raised in Romania, she studied literature in France and emigrated to the United States, where she writes in both French and English. She has published a short story collection, Elegy for a Fabulous World (Ninebark Press, 2009), as well as a bilingual book of poems. (updated 6/2010)
