Kristyn Garza is a queer chicana from McAllen, Texas, on the U.S.–Mexico border. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Tupelo Quarterly, The McNeese Review, SPECTRA, The Spectre Review, New Note Poetry, AGNI, and RHINO Poetry, as a finalist for its 2022 Founders Prize. She’s a PhD candidate in poetry at the University of Cincinnati. (updated 4/2024)
