James Guida is an Australian currently living in Brooklyn. He has worked in publishing, most recently as an assistant editor at Farrar, Straus and Giroux. His collection of aphorisms, Marbles—part of which first appeared in AGNI—will be released in fall 2009 by Turtle Point Press. (updated 8/2009)
